Certification
Certification may be obtained through the American Academy of
Professional Coders. This organization offers certification as a CPC – Certified Professional Coder or CPC-H – Certified Professional Coder – Hospital.
KMC courses prepares its participants to take either or both of these exams. Registration to take the exams must be made through AAPC. You must register at least 6 weeks in advance of the course. AAPC also offers Study Guides that help to prepare for the exam. All products may be purchased through their website
